Amazon’s innovation now makes it easier to offer gifts
This holiday season, Amazon is streamlining the process of buying and giving gifts.
In the future, you can send gifts to others by email or text message even if you don’t know their address, Amazon announcement Monday. All you need is the recipient’s email address or phone number.
To use the new service, you must be an Amazon Prime member. Then simply purchase the gift and select “add gift receipt for easy returns” when you checkout. At this point, you will be asked for the recipient’s email address or cell phone.
Amazon will notify the recipient of the gift, and the recipient can either accept the gift or redeem it for an Amazon Gift Card. The donor will not be notified if the recipient decides to exchange the gift.
The ability to email or text gifts won’t be the only new twist in Amazon’s 2021 holiday shopping season. Although it’s only the first week of October, Amazon says it’s already rolling out “Black Friday-worthy” deals.
As of Monday, you can find “big discounts across all categories,” Amazon says. This includes products in categories such as:

There will be new offers every day. According to Amazon:
