Waterford Police issue warning over foreclosure scam

WATERFORD, CT – Police are issuing a warning about a scam that involves letters telling homeowners their homes are going to be foreclosed.

Police wrote in a Facebook post: “These smart scammers never stop, do they? Do yourself a favor…if people call…don’t give any information. If you receive mail, read it but contact information by yourself to call back the right people.Don’t trust anyone who asks for your information.
